What Are Combines?

What we lovingly call 'combines' or 'additional seams' are just that. They are any action taken to a shirt other than the straight cutting of the standard sized square.

Some examples of what is considered extra and does cost extra.

• Combining (simple) - 2 shirts (or a front and back) into one block.
• Combining* (more than one seam)
• Applique - front logo to the back side of a shirt.
• Enlarging a tank top to be a square (fill in the arms and neck)
• Polo Shirt - Trim bulk and sew the tab closed
• Baseball Jerseys - Usually, bulk removed from front placket, and opening sewn shut. We do leave the buttons.
• Pockets - Pockets need to be sewn 'shut' so that the hopping foot of the quilting does not 'catch' on opening.
• Creating a new block from 2 or more logos/pockets or other parts.

*Complex piecing. When more than one seam is involved, or creating a block out of odd shaped items, it requires more time to piece the block.

Minimum of $10 additional charge each on these. These can include but are not limited to:

• cheerleading V-front tops (these are usually pretty labor intensive to work with and usually run around $25 additional charge.)
• enlarging a tanktop into a larger block
• shorts
• sleeves
